Building solid consistency and momentum throughout the week only to live totally different each weekend is a frustrating yet VERY common cycle to fall into. We feel like we’re working hard most of the time, but the actions/sums of a couple days totally offset all the other good work we’re putting in, and we either get nowhere or move backward.
How can we break that and make your Monday morning feeling DIFFERENT heading into next week?
Starts with owning the weekend!

There is no “track” to hop on or off of. No bandwagon.
There is only you, your life, your health, your wellness, and your decisions.
Rather than viewing the weekdays one way, and the weekends another way, as if they were two totally different things, move toward viewing all of your days as just another day in your life.

What are you doing during the week that has you feeling “on”?
Look at your routine. Your workouts, your walks, your approach to nutrition, all of these anchors and rituals.
How do we keep those in place Fri-Sun?
“Lite” versions of the anchors our weekdays hold are POWERFUL! Shorter workouts, shorter walks, calories instead of macros, don’t be afraid to pivot in a way that suits the varying demands of your day to day life!

How do you want to feel Monday morning?
Regretful, annoyed, sad that you just spent two days living in a way that totally offset the hard work of the five days prior?
or
Proud, hopeful, excited, and motivated to keep building the momentum you finally carried on thru the weekend?
Decide ahead of Friday night, commit, follow thru!

Make your point, Jason!
Your first weekend staying “on” is the hardest one just like your first time walking thru the gym doors is the hardest time, just like your first time caring about your diet is the hardest time.
Once we feel the difference it makes, how uplifted we are mentally, how strongly we’re reminded that, “Hey…I can really do this thing!”, every next time thru that same scenario gets easier and easier.
At this point the “on” or “off” dialog starts to disappear, and we realize we’ve become someone that is living intentionally, and we feel so good living by our newly created standards that living without intention a couple days a week feels FAR less appealing.
