The process of transformation can bring about saying “no” to things we used to say “yes,” to.
No to sleeping in, when the best opportunity for movement comes before your work schedule.
No to the late night snacking that you found comforting.
No to the daily glass of alcohol to erase the stress of the day.
We tend to resent the no’s because they bring about a new change in life and change can be daunting. But when you want to change, the “no’s” are inevitable.
So should we fear the “no?” Or be open to them and appreciate it for the new opportunities they bring?
Remember, you wanted a change. The different life, the different habits to help you feel better. And sometimes, those “no’s” accumulate in time to help you feel like a “hell yes!”
