“If I drink a protein shake, and don’t end up being able to workout that day, is it true that I’ll gain weight?”

My response:
“Nope! We never gain weight by default based on eating any one certain thing. While protein is great (and necessary) to sustain or add muscle, the thing that matters 99% for your weight is total daily calories. You could drink 10 protein shakes per day, and if the total amount of calories you finish the day at is below your maintenance calories, you won’t gain.”
